Mountain House® Freeze Dried foods packed in heavy duty #10 cans. Over 99% of the residual oxygen has been removed. This is the same process mandated by the U.S. Military for whom they also supply. Mountain House foods provide the longest shelf life available… 25 to 30 years or more as proven by constant government and independent laboratory actual time testing! Each can is coated with a protective enamel inside and out for double protection, including the lid. The can contents are protected and ready for you when you need them.
After opening, we recommend using the dry contents within one week for best results and taste, using the convenient resealable plastic lid between uses.
After hydration, treat any leftover hydrated food as you would fresh food.
