Dinner Rolls2 1/4 cups Augason Farms Enriched Unbleached All Purpose Flour2 tablespoons Augason Farms White Granulated Sugar1 teaspoon Augason Farms Iodized Salt1 package active dry yeast1 cup warm water2 tablespoons shortening1 eggMix 1 1/4 cups flour, sugar, salt and yeast in large bowl. Add water, shortening, egg; beat until smooth. Stir in remaining flour until smooth. Scrape batter from side of bowl. Cover and let rise in warm place until double, about 30 minutes. Stir down batter with wooden spoon by beating it, 25 strokes. Spoon into 12 greased medium muffin cups. Let rise until batter rounds over tops of cups, 20 – 30 minutes. Bake at 400° F until golden brown, 15 – 20 minutes. Serve warm. Yield: 12 rolls.Soft Lemonade Cookies1 cup butter or margarine, softened1 cup Augason Farms White Granulated Sugar2 eggs3 cups Augason Farms Enriched Unbleached All Purpose Flour1 teaspoon baking soda6 ounce frozen lemonade concentrate, thawedIn bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Combine flour, soda. Add to creamed mixture alternately with 1/3 cup lemonade concentrate. Mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoonful's onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 400° F for 8 minutes. Remove to wire racks. Brush with remaining lemonade concentrate. Sprinkle with sugar. Cool. Yield: 6 dozen cookies.
