Allergens:Processed in a plant that handles wheat, egg, milk, soybean, peanut, and tree nut products.
Directions: To cook, combine 1 cup lentils and 2 ˝ cups water in saucepan. Bring to boiling, reduce heat, cover tightly, and boil gently for 30 minutes. Lentils do not require pre-soaking. Yields apx. Four ˝ cup servings.
Lentils can be used for making soups and casseroles. They are also excellent sprouted and used raw in salads.
For best flavor and nutrition, keep cans constantly stored at 70° or lower. Once opened, keep in air tight containers in dark cool places.
